About Us

A recreational/instructional youth league for boys and girls in grades K – 12, sponsored by Fairfield North PTC, and organized by a group of volunteers in Fairfield and Fairfield Twp. FTYBL is now accepting registrations for its 25th season serving ALL students residing in Fairfield, Fairfield Twp, Hamilton, and surrounding areas.

Grade Level Leagues:

Co-ed Kindergarten, Girls 1^st - 2^nd, Boys 1^st, Boys 2^nd, Boys 3^rd, Boys 4^th, Boys 5^th-6^th,Boys 7^th -8^th, Boys 9^th-10^th, Boys 11^th-12^th

FEES : 110$ 1-12^th 85$ for Kindergarten. Registrations start in Mid September.
Fees Include: Basketball uniform (jersey and shorts) to keep, 8 regular season games, end of season tournament, participation trophies for all younger players. Championship & Runner up trophies for all Divisions.

(We never charge an admission charge to attend games)

PRACTICES: Held once a week in Fairfield Schools Gymnasiums SEASON: Practices begin weekdays in Mid-November, games start in January, and the season concludes with a tournament mid-March.
THE EXPERIENCE: Every player is guaranteed to play 2 quarters in K-6^th Grades & 1.5 quarters in 7-12^th. We keep score and thus acknowledge winning teams. However, we do several things to aid our young players in learning the game.
Team formation: Depending on the grade level, coaches are given a certain # of pre picks to start there team. In Kind &1^st grades remaining players are picked via blind draw. 2^nd -12^th Grades we have an assessment & draft.
- Championship Game – players’ names are announced to hype music, and the winner of the championship gets to cut down the nets!
