The Fairfield Warriors are a select & recreational level youth basketball program designed for residents of Fairfield and students in grades 3-6 within Fairfield City Schools. The Warriors operate in conjunction with the Fairfield Township Youth Basketball League (FTYBL). All teams play in the CPYBL, or Cincinnati Premier Youth Basketball League.

Our select teams are formed via tryouts that take place yearly, in early September. The select Warriors play at a very competitive level against teams from all over Greater Cincinnati. The program is designed as a feeder for the school system and prepares youth for the competitive
atmosphere that begins with 7th grade basketball.

The select Warriors season begins in mid-October and continues through February. The teams practice twice/week and play a 20 game schedule. The first game is usually the first week in December. All home games are played at Crossroads Middle School and practices are split between various Fairfield schools and Spooky Nook Champion Mill. Select Warriors teams have the option to play in various pre-season and mid-season tournaments throughout the area.

Throughout the season, various events take place to celebrate the teams and promote a sense of community. Those events might include Signing Day, Warriors Pep Rally, Warrior Night at the high school varsity game, and our end of season awards ceremony.

Fees for our 2023-2024 select season are $250 and that helps to pay for uniforms, gym fees, ref fees, tournaments and other associated league fees.

Warriors recreational teams are designed for girls in grades 3-6 who desire a less-competitive atmosphere, all while having ample opportunity to both have fun and develop their skills.These teams start in early November, practice once a week and play a 10 game schedule. All home games are played at Crossroads Middle School while away games are played throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Playing in the CPYBL allows our girls-only teams to play against other girl-only teams, thus creating a better and more enjoyable experience for our participants. The recreational Warriors season will culminate with an end of year tournament hosted by the Cincinnati Premier Youth Basketball League.

Fees for our 2023-2024 recreational season are $125 and that helps to pay for uniforms, gym fees, ref fees and other associated league fees.
